Sutter Solano Appoints New Board Member
Llewelyn will serve the Sutter Solano Charitable Foundation

FAIRFIELD, Calif. – Vallejo resident Darla Llewelyn has been appointed to serve on the board of directors for the Sutter Solano Charitable Foundation, the philanthropic not-for-profit organization that raises funds for the two Sutter affiliates in Solano County—Sutter Regional Medical Foundation (SRMF) and Sutter Solano Medical Center (SSMC). Llewelyn will serve with the other board members to work to improve the health and quality of life of residents in Solano County communities.

Llewelyn, 33, brings dedication and an interest in health care to her new position. As a branch manager at Bolt Staffing Service, her company has been providing staff to Sutter Health for more than five years.

"I find the state of the health care business to be very important, and I look forward to learning more about how the industry is run,” she says. “I’m also a member of this community and want to see the hospital improve so our neighbors know they are getting the best care, and they don’t have to go outside the county."

Originally from Panama, Llewelyn moved to Vallejo when she was 2 years old. She has been active in several service and professional organizations including the Vacaville and Vallejo chambers of commerce.

Like most not-for-profit health care institutions, SRMF and SSMC often have needs that exceed what budgets can provide. Fortunately, philanthropic support through the Sutter Solano Charitable Foundation steps in to fill such gaps.

Sutter Solano Charitable Foundation is dedicated to providing resources to help support numerous worthwhile programs and services. The foundation solicits philanthropic gifts that fund programs, services, education, capital improvements and patient care at SSMC and SRMF.

French American Conference of Entrepreneurs Invite Joanne Bouldt Sanders to the Louvre as a Guest Panelist
Sonoma, CA - Joanne Bouldt Sanders, founder and president of Bolt Staffing and Mayor of Sonoma California, will serve as a panelist at the First Annual French American Conference of Entrepreneurs on June 27 and 28, 2008 at The Louvre in Paris, France.

Born in Jarny, France, Bouldt Sanders has resided in the United States since infancy. Her mother is French. Her parents met when her American father served in the United States Air Force and was stationed in France. The young family resided in Alsace-Lorraine for a short time before returning to her father's native California.

Bouldt Sanders earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the Sonoma State University School of Management in 1991. She launched a career in the staffing industry with Olsten Corporation. She married Morgan Sanders, a native of Idaho, established residence in Pocatello, Idaho, and started her own staffing agency in 1994. Landing several government contracts, Bouldt Sanders rapidly built a successful company and sold it four years later to return to California, where she and her husband built another successful staffing firm in a competitive California market.

"This invitation to serve as a panelist for the French American Conference of Entrepreneurs is an honor and step forward for my career and business," says Bouldt Sanders. "I look forward to sharing my experience with those who attend, and to learning from and networking with some of the most successful entrepreneurs in the world."

The Conference is an initiative of the Chambre de Commerce et d' industrie de Paris and the French American Society of Entrepreneurs (FASE), a non-profit organization which provides a unique, collaborative channel of communication and cooperation between the American and French entrepreneurial communities. It will provide a forum for French-American entrepreneurs to create and reinforce the individual avenues required to develop joint initiatives. The will have the opportunity to meet, interact, and put a "trusted" face with each other's names.

The conference has been designed to gather dynamic entrepreneurs, from start-ups to private equity and venture capitalists, investment bankers, corporate and intellectual property attorneys, academic professionals, strategic and institutional partners.

Michael S. Malone, a distinguished Silicon Valley journalist will serve as conference moderator. Christine Lagarde, Minister of Economy, Finance and Employment; Craig Roberts Stapleton, U.S. Ambassador to France, and Pierre Simone, President of the Paris and European Chamber of Commerce and Industry will welcome keynote speakers, panelists, organizers, the public and the media.

Representatives from eBay, Craigslist, and Amazon.com will serve as keynote speakers.

Panels will cover such topics as: what separates the entrepreneur who "thinks big" as opposed to "being comfortable"; and what is involved in the process of becoming a substantial company.

The conference will also include roundtables for French-American entrepreneurial communities including medical, technology, mobility and IT, software, clean-tech, and academic research. It will be covered by media from around the world.

BOLT Staffing Service Relocates to Convenient Sonoma Location, Historical Home
Sonoma, CA - BOLT Staffing Service, Inc., a locally owned and operated success story in the employment staffing industry, has recently moved to a new office in Sonoma. Formerly located at 620 Broadway, their new office is now located at 955 Broadway, across from Sonoma Valley High School.

Some local residents will remember the property, directly across the street from Sonoma High School's main entrance, as "Catarina's home". After purchasing the property from Adrienne Klovee, Catarina's daughter, Morgan and Joanne Sanders, owners and founders of BOLT Staffing, spent the last 3 years renovating the old home and converting it to commercial use. The original style of the building was retained to preserve the local character of the community. The Sanders are applying for a Sonoma League for Historic Preservation 2006 Award.

The Sanders fell in love with the old home and property and envisioned it as a perfect location for their employment agency. They and their staff are very excited about the convenient Broadway location and renovation of their new office.

This high visibility location is particularly convenient for students looking for first-time, temporary, part-time, and seasonal jobs, as well as for all other employment seekers. BOLT Staffing's employee database includes people available to work in a wide range of employment positions; however, the majority of placements are in clerical, administrative, and account support positions.

BOLT Staffing Service has been owned and operated by Joanne and Morgan Sanders since its establishment twelve years ago in 1994. BOLT Staffing has two office locations: one in Sonoma, the other in Vallejo.

The office is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The phone number is 707-939-2800; the website is www.boltstaffing.com.
