Dear Clients, Employees, and Vendors:

I send a somber greeting your way from a shaken, but united Wine Country. I am thankful for all the emergency crews working to save our lives and homes and for BOLT’s internal staff that continues coordinating clients and employees during this crisis. Our thoughts and prayers are with those directly impacted. There is no doubt our North Bay community will overcome these challenges and become stronger as a result.

Here is an overview of BOLT Staffing from an operational standpoint:

  • BOLT remains open for business M-F from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. in American Canyon and San Francisco
  • The Sonoma office is closed until nearby evacuations are lifted; hopefully by Monday the 16th
  • There is no payroll interruption; payroll is processed, and our employees will receive their paychecks on time today.
  • We have a 24/7 answering service to handle any off-hours inquiries
  • Call (707)552-7800 with any questions

Our Staff

Our internal staff is staying positive and on task with a limited crew. The good news is that we’ve been doing some team building under one roof in the American Canyon office. Almost all of us have been personally affected by the fire and some of us are on edge as the fires rage out of control less than a mile from our homes. A few live in evacuated areas and are not able to get to work. None of us has lost our homes, although sadly we have several clients and assignment employees who have.

Our Clients

The situation is evolving and I understand you may not know your staffing needs for this weekend, next week, and the weeks after. Our team is accessible via phone and email to handle your needs as the situation changes. BOLT is flexible and ready to assist with recovery efforts should your organization endure staffing challenges moving forward.

Our Assignment Employees

If you worked this week, submit your timesheet by Monday at noon to be paid on time next Friday. Please transition to electronic timesheets if you have net yet done so. We understand you may not be able to make it to your assignment due to road closures. Please contact your recruiter at (707)552-7800 if this is the situation.

I understand the financial hardships of this disaster. Businesses are closed, assignments are temporarily ended, and many of our valued employees are out of work. Please call the office with your availability and we will do our best to find your next assignment. I ask you to remain positive, spend time with your loved ones, and help your community members when possible.
