How to Get Your California Food Handler Card

Thinking about a career in the hospitality industry? Looking to work on the weekends while attending school? Interested in earning extra cash for the holidays? A California Food Handler Card (FHC) will help open all those doors for you because the FHC is required for most hospitality positions with Bolt Staffing. The FHC is simple to obtain and sets you apart from other candidates looking to break into the restaurant or catering business. This Wednesday, September 21, 2016 there is a class in Santa Rosa from 2pm-5pm where you can earn your FHC; click here to register and get the details. The fee for this class is $25.00.
Can’t make the Wednesday class? No worries – the certification can also be done online; it takes roughly 90 minutes to study and complete the 40 test questions. You pass with a grade of 70% and you get two chances to pass per class registration. Upon completion, you are given a printable certificate to present to prospective employers, along with a card to keep in your wallet.
